Bit on the soulless side
I’d been hoping for a more psychological deep dive. Nothing special but nothing terribly offensive. Good background noise. They repeat the sound bites a bit too much though. In a less than an hour run time it’s a bit jarring when you hear the same one a couple of times throughout the episode. It makes me think that maybe my app is having a moment.

More reviews of What Makes a Killer
I just listened to the first episode. It’s sounding great so far; it’s a good balance of narration and audio clips. The music and sound effects are appropriately placed within the story. The host isn’t boring either. She has a great tone that doesn’t lull you to sleep. Two thumbs up 👍🏼

Just finished listening to the debut episode and it was extremely well done. Great production value and highly informative. If every episode is as good as the first one then it’s very likely this will be my new favorite podcast.

I never really gave thought to the psychology behind serial killers. When I’m listening to true crime podcasts, I’m usually hearing about the crime scene, or the victims, or the investigation. I’m going to keep listening!
