News being reported in a healthy manner
Just listened to Understanding the crisis in Yemen. I appreciate coming across this episode because it provided me with a backdrop for what’s been going on. I don’t watch much news on TV for obvious reasons. Although I often receive emails from a nonprofit trying to help but haven’t exactly known what is going on. This podcast was thorough, it provided a brief historical timeline as to how we got here, and the guest speaker provided a wholesome understanding of life in Yemen.

This podcast tackles an issue each day in depth. Rather than a news recap it covers a timely topic in some depth, but still keeping the podcast to 15-20 minutes. Excellent!

A very good and interesting podcast. Unfortunately, the host uses “like” as a filler entirely too frequently, so it can be difficult to listen.

Right out of the gate, this became my favorite daily news podcast. Great content, great personalities, but the ads are excessive. I’m thankful Slate provides such great podcasts for free and I understand advertisements are a necessary part of that- but the huge chunks of ads here are a bit much.
