“This is a well reviewed podcast and featured on my phone. This is indicative of a confirmation bias people are looking for.
It brings that NPR, SERIAL-type and sounding, format. But the info is clearly biased, left leaning to left fawning, and pushes the very liberal/leftist agenda. To run a fluff piece on how Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is not a caricature of a pretty, but dumb politician is hopelessly grasping. She is young. She is educated, but uninformed. She doesn’t understand what she is talking about. She probably shouldn’t have “earned” a college degree (she isn’t unique in this). But, this Slate Magazine writer’s take, (which also includes a small biography about her previous experience as an interpreter... let me know why that is relevant...), is out to prove the leftist position.
It only works if you already agree with it. There are no arguments, plenty of placing self and feelings into the “journalism,” and it parrots a narrative. Why listen to drivel like this? If you already believe it... just talk to a mirror. If you don’t, this is not a place for convincing facts.”
