“This is a good daily news podcast that offers insight and perspective. More like “The Daily” from NYT than Slate’s “The Gist” (I listen to both of those too.) The real difference will be in story selection and perspective offered by the host. It’s nice to finally have a daily news podcast hosted by a woman (without the topics only being about ‘women’s issues.’ I’ve been looking for a show like this and I’m glad Slate finally made it happen!”
