“As I think Mike Wilson’s podcast often brings useful insight I thought I’d try this out but sadly it was a thinly veiled sales pitch for hiring an investment advisor. The investor’s question about why it makes sense to go with an Assets Under Management fee structure was brushed aside with some clever misdirection and redirected to discuss the probability simulations that they love to parade rather than show real returns versus an index fund. I would not trust any advice I heard here after hearing this episode (S2E1)… disappointing but I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised.”
