Meh.
This podcast is just ok. I haven’t gotten anything out of the three episodes that made me want to add books to my TBR list. And there is WAY too much discussion of “Me Before You”. If she never ever ever talked about that book again, it would be great. We get it, she loved that book, as did everyone else apparently (except me), but it isn’t for everyone, and we don’t need to hear about it on EVERY episode. If you are looking for reading recommendations, I would point you more toward the Get Booked podcast - that has exploded my TBR, and also the All the Books podcast, if you are looking for new things to read. Both of those are better than this one at the job of making reading recommendations, They offer a more diverse range of genres and styles of books, and they make me excited about books in a way this one just hasn’t, so far.

Such great book ideas! I love how Anne takes the time to find out what her guest really enjoys reading. Fabulous insight shared with warmth and humor.

I’ve loved listening to her and guests talk about why they love or hate a specific book, and hear a little insight on how Anne picks her books for herself and recommends for others. It...Read full review »
