“I usually enjoy true crime podcasts and listen for about 45 minutes every day when I'm out jogging. Helps exercise those grey cells (my brain) while exercising my body.
But this podcast is difficult to listen to. Between the male host, who sounds smarmy, the female host, who sounds like she is trying to be hip, and the Wikipedia-level of research, it annoys the heck out of me.
I'd much rather hear the true crime podcasts that people put together out of their home using a cheap mic but they've used multiple sources that represent many points of view.
My advice: don't try to be cool. Or relevant. Or funny. Just do your research and tell the stories that are remarkable.”
