Aside from drinking tea and telling the therapist that she’s wasting her time… Wax is learning a lot and this week he teaches Carla something in therapy! [24:00] Black Men and their Relationship To Vulnerability: The world has manipulated our society into thinking that vulnerability is “soft” or "weak" when in fact it's a very brave act. This week Carla encourages Wax to lean into being vulnerability and challenges him to “feel” his feelings instead of suppressing them. Wax in return challenges Carla to adopt multiple views of “vulnerability” and to not expect him to react in the same ways that she would to a situation.
