Context is Key
Really love this pod and the host’s ability to question clinical assessments that don’t have context. But then she said something about women not having the same stressors as men 100 years ago and that just sounds like some princess pov. Women have worked in intensive labor since the dawn of time, from agrarian societies to slavery to the Industrial Revolution to, quite simply, the poorer women that help clean richer women’s homes. When evaluating modern stressors I think we should stick to tech, processed foods, pollutants, etc. and not make broad statements about women and work stress.
