A Must-Listen For Anyone Who Misses Magazines

I worked as an editor and freelance writer for a bunch of teen and women’s service (as they were called) magazines between 1995-2004: Cosmo, YM, Glamour, CosmoGirl!, Seventeen, Elle Girl…just to name a few. (I’ll go bonkers if they ever choose an issue I worked on.) I’ve had misgivings about that phase of my career and the garbage messaging I contributed to. But hearing Troy and Dara speak with reverence about print media has given me a new appreciation for the work I did back then. They’ve reminded me of the passion I had for magazines when I was young, which led me to pursue that (doomed) career in the first place. Can’t wait to hear more! (Btw, I came here from Beyond the Blinds. I’m probably one of Troy’sβ€”and Kelli’s and now Dara’sβ€”more geriatric fans.)
