The private island of Nukutepipi is a turquoise lagoon sanctuary, where every artwork is displayed in an open-air gallery, blending seamlessly with its idyllic surroundings. It is a destination for the world's super wealthy, and for those who want a true escape from the paparazzi, from reality, from everything.
This incredible island is part of the Duke of Gloucester islands, sitting in the Pacific Ocean, 6000 kilometres from the nearest continent, and 1000 kilometres from Bora Bora.
It is owned by charismatic Canadian billionaire and part time astronaut Guy Laliberte who co-founded Cirque De Soleil in 1984.
Laliberte bought Nukutepipi and spent 10 years investing in it before opening it to high calibre guests, so it is truly sustainable.
Nukutepipi can be hired out for $1 million USD a week, and that is for 16 cabins which can host 52 people. All main stream alcohol and food is included in the price tag, as well as daily massages and water sports.
There are 100 staff, high tech amenities, high end artworks, a private cinema, hot tub, kitchen and bar. There is even an observatory.
