“Katie states her sources before she launches into anecdotal storytelling on a variety of historical subjects. I appreciate this because, without the sources, I might be inclined to think she’s stating only her opinions about what she thinks might have happened.
SO MUCH virtue signaling. I’m sure most people listening recognize that she’s telling stories about bad behavior, not condoning bad behavior. Just in case though, she’s going tell the listener over and over and over and over using all the hashtag worthy #overused #buzzwords of the day.
Stories ARE entertaining, Katie is appreciative of her listeners and shares openly about her need for support. Editing is really poorly executed, but I believe some of that is not her doing. (Podcasters don’t get to choose where ads get jammed in, for example.)
Episodes are commute-convenient lengths and the bittisodes are snack-sized. Love the bits when her child pops in - very cute!
I’ve gone back and fort between 2 & 3 stars as I write this, but I’m settling on 3. I don’t think I’m her target audience, but I’m sure there are plenty of listeners out there who will quite enjoy her content & delivery.”
