Entertaining and informative
I came to this podcast after I began following Katie on TikTok recently. I started out with the first episode as I like to go in release order, and I’ll be honest I found it a bit tricky to get through. The content was very good and interesting, but I could definitely tell the presenter seemed to be knew to this, and her dialogue was quite awkward with an uneasy flow. This is not meant as a negative, because I did hear great potential in this podcast, and I love Katie on TikTok, so I skipped ahead to some of her latest episodes (the first 3 of Henry VIII’s wives) and by this point she seems to have nailed her delivery and ultimately be much more confident in what she is doing. So what I’m meaning is, don’t rule out this podcast from the first couple of episodes, give her a chance, I can only imagine how difficult it is to start something like this, and let’s be honest, most of our fave podcasts started out with somewhat inferior episodes compared to where they are at now. I can’t wait to listen to more episodes from this podcast, it could very quickly be up there with my faves You’re Wrong About and Maintenance Phase.

As an older person I’m not really into streaming or internet radio, and have always found podcasts to just be super weird and overrated to the point that I rarely listened. I’m not even sure how I stumbled across this - alas I am happy I did. The storytelling is done in such a way that it draws...Read full review »
