“I can understand why Rob Reiner would do something like this, but shame on Soledad for taking part in it. It seriously undermines her credibility as a journalist.
I’m a big fan of JFK, and not a fan of the CIA. I’ve long been fascinated by this story and was well-disposed to believing in a conspiracy. I’ve read plenty of books on it, but having read Posner’s ‘Case Closed’ and Bugliosi’s ‘Reclaiming History,’ I had to come to the reluctant conclusion that all of these conspiracy theories have been debunked. Oswald acted alone. To ask “who benefited?” is the wrong way to look at something like this. You need to look at the facts. I know it’s hard to accept, but sometimes a beloved “somebody” gets taken out by a “nobody.””
