“I took the first season as a quirky one off. Someone did something very gross and inappropriate at a wedding. These, comedians I’ll call them, had resources and alot of time on their hands. I got invested because of the depths they were willing to go into their investigations. When they didnt solve the case, ultimately creating a podcast about failing, I took it as they ran out of time, or due to the strange carefreeness of European humor, they never really truly cared. It was in the second season I fully realized they did not care. They didnt care about the suitcase. They spent more time developing sound effects and singing choirs for the podcast than investigating. That’s because they are podcasters, not mystery solvers. It became clear rather soon they would not solve this case either. Are they funny? Kind of. I mean, they are mostly confused and narcissistic most of the podcast. Far too busy giving side winks and trying to impress friends of friends with their pretend Sherlock performances. All this to say two seasons and I’m left feeling like the true victim.”
