Fantastic new slant on horror chat
I’m always looking for an alternative take on the horror podcast. Far too many horror-centric shows are macho bro-chat, with too much gatekeeping and ‘edgelord’ humour. This is a warm, funny antidote. The host Alison is great at directing chat, and offers enough of herself to make it a conversation rather than just a Q@A, but she also lets the guests shine. It’s given me a new appreciation for films I’ve previously disliked ( but not The Shining) and also introduced me to a whole raft of stuff I’ve yet to see. It’s about as pleasant a listen as you can have, when you’re talking about dismemberment.

More reviews of Who's There? A Podcast About Horror Fans
Found this podcast thru another podcast, and really dig the premise of talking to fans about why they love horror. My only gripe is that every guest loves The Shining, and I’m just not a fan of either the book or the movie (my horror hot take).

It’s fun to have a chance to hear from the fans and not just have another horror review show. Listen to this show to feel even more connected to the horror...Read full review »
