More “is” less “ought”
The topics and the rigour are commendable and a service to the small community of philosophy minded folks like ourselves. But when they digress into confessions of their political leanings—referring to Black Lives Matter, for instance, as “being perfect”—their credibility dissolves. Follow Hume and separate “is” from “ought.”

More reviews of Why Theory
I really enjoy the dialogue, the excitement, the spontaneous ways you both conduct the show. For someone with abasic level of knowledge on the major topics, I find the show very accessible. After each show, It drives me to seek more about the thinkers and ideas, so thank you so much for your work!

Probably my favorite podcast. Had to write this review to counterbalance the absurd 1 star review below.

Essential listening to accompany a burgeoning or established interest in Lacan, Hegel and Žižek. My dog and I would go on much shorter walks without it. Thanks for producing such good listening.
