Started fine, slowly deteriorated.
I have listened to 3 episodes. Siegfried and Roy sounded interesting enough to send me looking for more information about them. I had heard of them growing up and remember the news of Roy’s accident, but never imagined they would be so fascinating. However, after I watched many interviews and documentaries online, I realized most of the audio clips were taken from those news and talk show appearances available online, including a 20/20 special. That also includes interviews with people who knew them. Those pieces give you more detail, less speculation, and the gorgeous visuals of their act, their cats, and their hearts. And yes, you can see the hearts of these men when you watch them. There is a whole episode in this podcast about “were they/weren’t they” and “why does it matter, nosey?” Well, it doesn’t. So why are you devoting an entire episode to their personal lives? They were private. It’s none of your business. An episode of pure gossip. That’s when I went looking for video of their performance and interviews. I’m so glad I did. Now I can see them for myself and quit this podcast. There is nothing original here that can’t be learned by watching the pair, which makes for a superior, enriching experience. So, thanks for sparking my interest in them, I guess.

More reviews of Wild Things: Siegfried & Roy

I was hoping to hear some real information about Siegfried and Roy and the tiger attack that ended their careers. The reporter goes into this trying to find a nefarious connection between the attack on Roy and animal mistreatment. Finding little revealing evidence, he goes on side tangents...Read full review »

It’s a shame it’s not a little longer but nice that you get the whole story done without dragging it on endlessly.
