March 6 Episode- Small Landowners Matter Too
First off I really enjoy the podcast and I know I’ll be able to better manage my properties with what I’m learning each week! I wanted to comment on the part of the episode where you guys talk about landowners with small tracks getting discouraged with feeling like they make no impact. I have three 100-140 acre properties and one I small 30 acre lease that I manage year around for turkeys and deer here in NE Mississippi. I’ve found that my little 30 acres tract holds more turkeys and we kill more turkeys there than any other tract I own! I’m lucky that that spot sits between two large ridge lines with a creek and small four acre field right in the middle. I burn what I can and trap the perimeters of all my property. Makes a HUGE difference! Thanks guys!

I would also love more details on what specifically a land owner can do to improve nesting and...Read full review »
