Pop culture meets scholarship.
This might be the BEST American Studies podcast I’ve ever heard. In fact it’s probably the best podcast I’ve ever heard. The writers and producers leave, no stone unturned, where it comes to Little House on the Prairie and the expansion of the United States. They even go so far as to mention literature like Linda Sue Park’s Prairie Lotus, to draw comparisons between Wilder’s experiences, and those of other ethnic groups. This podcast covers children’s literature, American history, race, schism, native identity, and so much more.
