Manifest Destiny
I graduated high school in Oklahoma and manifest destiny was absolutely taught in middle school. “Go West Young Man” was often said when discussing this time period. I’m also an enrolled Cherokee citizen and except for a paragraph in our Oklahoma history book that covered the Trail of Tears, there was no real discussion of Indian Removal. I’ve enjoyed binging this series. Jennifer

You’re bringing yourself fame by criticizing and tearing apart someone who knew no different at that time. This was how people spoke and believed almost 90 YEARS AGO!!! Was it right?
