“Throughout these books the Author takes the time to construct elaborate characters and relationships in a great sci-fi universe. But then, after getting to know and love all the characters, he fundamentally takes away and changes some of the greatness he worked so hard to establish. In the last episode of the last book! It's akin to "and then they woke up from the dream" ending we all have grown to demise. I just really hated to see the way everything changed last minute.
Update: the epilogue was horrendous. I loved this story up until then. The author feeling he needed to correct his own story in the "11th hour" as he stated just ruined the whole story.”
