It’s become a downer.
I’ve listened to both On the path and winds howling all the way through and after the last few episodes of each I just feel like Brett has become a downer on the Witcher series and putting it down a bit too much. If you’re new to the Witcher universe and watch the series and then listen to people complain about so many things they didn’t like of an “Adaptation” as they used to like to say it just goes from oh I loved the show so much to oh well I enjoyed those parts and really just wanted to hear more insight into the episodes. Much like how the books were done on the On the Path podcast. I enjoy everything Witcher and everyone has their opinions but to put the show down in a wide audience is how shows get cancelled. The series is not the books or the games and never had to be. Chances are if your covering your eyes during scary monsters and playing the games on easy you’re not going to enjoy great action scenes and seeing a Witcher be a Witcher. It’s a shame cause I really enjoyed listening about everything the Witcher in a more positive light.

More reviews of Wind's Howling
New to The Witcher, Henry brought me but these two guys are helping me understand quite a few things with just the right amount of banter. They are careful with spoilers and they keep it neatly wrapped.

Great analysis of content and context, and knowledgeable discussion about the show from book and game fans. I love also that they try to see the show from different perspectives, and unravel Sapkowski‘s deeper messages hidden in the plotlines.
