I love this stuff
As a native Texan (albeit an anchor baby Texan son of Arkansans who had the good sense to move to Texas before birthing me), I’ve always loved Texas history, particularly the Texas Revolution and specifically the Alamo. Ken Wise covers those events but he has opened my mind to many other events as well. From the great camel experiment to the Galveston hurricane to the San Antonio chili queens (by the way, thank you for the strong stance on beans. They aren’t in chili. I’ll refrain from the tomato sauce dis us doin for now). I only discovered Wise About Texas a few weeks ago and I’m already up to ep 47 out of about 79. Looking forward to more. Would love to have an email address.

More reviews of Wise About Texas
I thought I knew Texas history but the judge knows a lot more. I enjoy every episode.

Have greatly enjoyed the series. Please keep it up. Would love to hear you research on Sculptors Frank Teich and his understudy Copini.

I recently discovered this podcast. I am throughly enjoying Judge Wise’s storytelling. As a non-native Texan living in Texas, I am enjoying hearing these stories. Great podcast!
