Sapienter Si Sincere
I have been driving down Texas roads since I can’t remember when. In my profession, I’ve gone over 1 million miles in and around Texas (predominantly in the Permian Basin) and I have really found a friend in the voice and lessons of The Law East of the Pecos, Ken Wise. His well researched storytelling gives one a sense of the grand scope of history applied to the Grand State of Texas and how it not only shaped what has happened, but how it affects Texans and the World even today. If every State in America had as much enthusiasm for the lessons hard won by its residents as is evidenced by J.P. Wise in this wonderful podcast, there would be no stopping the United States. If you read this, Your Honor, I just want to pass along my sincerest gratitude for your bold endeavor to make Texas History come alive! I can’t wait to teach my little Texan some of the stuff I’ve learned from you. Regards, Jordan Davidson Midland, TEXAS

Judge Wise knows his Texas history, but in addition to knowledge, he knows how to tell a good story. Covering events and figures both famous and obscure, this podcast is a must for anyone with an interest in Texana.
