Good intentions gone bad
The show’s purported basic premise is that Megan and Michael sit on opposite sides of the political spectrum and that they would bring it all to light during a respectful podcast to discuss modern Christianity. After listening to several episodes, I am moving on. The reason? Megan and Michael do not sit on complete opposite sides of the spectrum. Megan is far left and Michael is left leaning. It’s not really a formula for a healthy debate as much as an internal litmus test for “how far left” a good Christian in Australia should be—by their measure, of course. I think I’ve already decided that one for myself. So, no more episodes for me. No more improper manipulations of the good book. No more unsolicited social framings of the gospel. No more inappropriate music recommendations. I’m thinking the church is in real trouble here.
