I should’ve hated it, binged it in a week instead
The writing has a couple of same-voice repetitive issues that a solid editor should’ve noticed. Take a shot every time a character blurts something emotional, pauses to breathe, and goes “look….” And sums up the situation in a snarky fashion- and you’ll have destroyed your liver by the end. But I did really like the action adventure intrigue elements- especially as someone who doesn’t like action adventure or most of the character archetypes. This was not made to my tastes whatsoever and I still really enjoyed it and consider it my favorite scifi podcast to date. And Hera is one of my favorite uses of an AI character point blank period. Solid character writing, left me wanting more in a good way.
