Description
My guest this week is Annabel Slaight – a women whose leadership matches her dreams. As the co-founder of OWL, Chickadee, Chirp and Tree House Family magazines, Owl Books and Owl TV, Annabel spearheaded a new paradigm of igniting and enlightening children in their discovery of the outdoors and wildlife. In her current role as Founding Chair of the Ontario Water Centre, Annabel has co-created, along with her talented cadre of transformational experts, powerful and highly innovative approaches to engaging citizens and experts in new forms of farming, and the “rewilding” of under-utilized, often abandoned, yet vitally important shoreline parks and spaces into healthy and highly interactive public experiences.
