We have been taught that Jesus is coming like a thief in the night, and He could return any time, so we are to be ready. But if you look at this verse in context, what Paul says is that Jesus is coming as a thief in the night to unbelievers. Not believers. Unbelievers will be shocked. Believers are supposed to be ready. Then we will talk about who the RESTRAINER is because there is a lot of controversy about that.
