“Lots to enjoy about the stories and the casual way they’re told. It’s obvious how much the guests like and respect Rachel and Irene. A couple things I wish they’d do differently:
- Rachel interrupts everyone A LOT, often without something funny or interesting enough to justify the interruption. I love Rachel’s acting on just about everything she’s done, but I feel like she needs to learn some podcasting/hosting/interviewing skills. She talks over Irene sooooo much - it seems disrespectful and dismissive.
- Minor nitpick: that is NOT how you pronounce “hypnagogic.” I mispronounce stuff too, no judgment, but it’s good to fix stuff when you learn about it.
Overall, a fun podcast with unique stories for sure.”
