Disappointed
While I have found Steve and Elise defense of our democracy on other venues inspiring they truly failed to inspire me in this podcast. Steve will not take responsibility for unleashing the Alt Right on us for his support for bringing Sarah Palin to the national stage. They both strangely sounded stuck in the 80’s with their disparaging remarks about democratic policy positions. They refused to critique Republican tax cuts for exploding the deficit (3 Republican Presidents in a row have done this). Their guest sounded like she was an entertainment reporter with nothing at stake in our country other than appearances. What a let down. If Steve believes folks need to vote Democratic this November to save our democracy, as he wrote in a recent column, he will need to do much better than this!

More reviews of Words Matter
This is such a brilliant podcast. It is informative and hopeful. It is thought-provoking in a very clear and constructive way as we try to work out how to get out of this mess.

I’m historically a strong Democrat, but current events and concern have me listening/considering reasonable Republican positions as reflected/articulated in this new Podcast.
