Very sanctimonious and condescendingly obtuse
Just when you thought Steve Schmidt finally got it right, he shows that he still dead wrong. The host of this podcast have failed to accept the fact that the Republican Party has been a breeding ground for racists and bigot since the civil rights movement. Their between this glaring blind spot towards history and the incessant whining about how Pres. Hoover was character assassinated by Roosevelt it’s not hard to see how these entitled elitists are unable to comprehend how their beloved GOP has run America into this seemingly inescapable ditch of hatred and mediocrity. This show blathers on for 40 plus minutes accusing liberals of having no ideas and at one point asks the question what’s the difference between Trumps big lie about building his wall and Democrat’s big lie that the federal government should “give away free stuff.” First of all the dishonesty of their argument is dripping with cynicism but more importantly Trump’s promises are based on hate and deeply rooted in xenophobia. This jingoistic ideology has been a cornerstone of republicanism since the days of Goldwater and the torch has been carried by prominent conservatives ever since from Pat Buchanan to David Duke. I’m really glad to see the man who will be forever known for making Sarah Palin a household name trying to salvage his reputation through numerous appearances on MSNBC, return to his roots and revealing his true colors in all of its monochromatic splendor.

I’ve voted as a Democrat in every election I’ve been able to, so my politics probably don’t align perfectly with theirs, but I do like that they’re...Read full review »
