Disappointing
As one who is clear that one’s words creates our reality—and that the quality of the words (the quality of one’s thinking) creates what’s possible, I saw little in the Firing Line conversation that forwarded possibility of understanding and even better, generating actionable solutions. Indeed, the discussion centered more around trying to scatter blame than surface and dissect the faulty underlying assumptions that BOTH parties make. This appears a fundamental error for a program entitled words matter. There is too much evidence of duality (either/or) thinking that limits the program’s value.

Finally, a podcast that provides a rational discussion of our current reality taking our history and our hopes into account. Thank you Elise and Steve

America is at a crossroads. Will we slip into an autocratic decline or end the divisive rhetoric and rescue our democratic way of life. I’ve been frustrated that MSM has been sugar coating what is happening in our country. Thanks for echoing what I’ve been saying for a while.

I thoroughly enjoyed the show. Keep up the great work. I was raised by Republican parents in Louisiana. I went to undergrad and law school in MS and LA respectively. But, now I am a 45 year old liberal progressive living in CO. Hotty Toddy! (Elise will know what that means ;)
