I’m a fan of both Elise and Steve. That being said, this episode was a huge disappointment. I’d expect more from them than waxing poetic about Paul Ryan, or questioning the validity of whether the uneducated white Trump voter is racist or suffering from economic anxiety. Those ships have sailed and the facts are self-evident. If you weren’t told the hosts were “Never Trumpers”, you’d be hard pressed to categorize them as such after listening to this conversation with Margaret Hoover. They get two stars for the hype of having two smart, independent thinking personalities team up on a podcast. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations on the first swing.

Hosts with “voice fry” turn me off from listening to what could be an interesting podcast series.

Two very conservative hosts that care deeply for bringing the right and left together for the sake of our Republic. Listening to learn how to have political dialogue without the division.
