A Fascinating Account of Life at Work
David Plotz interviews people to find out what they do at work. A simple enough idea, but the results are extraordinary. Who knew that listening to someone describe the daily grind, from their first work-related task in the morning to their last activity at night, would be this interesting? I highly recommend this series. It’s like the audio equivalent of Philip Roth’s description of glove-making in American Pastoral. Thank you for bringing this to us, David!

These are interviews with very interesting people. David Plotz does a great job of asking questions so that you can understand what each job feels like to the person doing the job. I really enjoy listening to it.
