Gautam Adani, chair of India’s Adani Group and one of the world’s wealthiest individuals, has been indicted in a New York federal court alongside others over an alleged multi-billion-dollar fraud scheme. Archegos founder Bill Hwang has been sentenced to 18 years in prison for orchestrating one of the largest economic frauds in U.S. history.
