“Found the report premeditated, prejudiced, patronising, derogatory and preconceived. Why else would it use a 2004 report on the number of people having toilet access and then link it to present day scenario asserting that nothing had changed when a large and huge majority has toilet access now? Why talk about the peanuts India gets as aid and ignore that it is a three trillion dollar economy now? The report just pedalled past negative notions about India and based its negative coverage on just two random interviews. All in all it was poor journalism from BBC. Anil Shukla.”
