Description
For this episode, I am looking at two stories that involve snuff films: EVIL DEAD TRAP from Japan and THESIS / TESIS from Spain.
Neither makes a whole lot of sense, but each has its brilliant charms.
The kills in EVIL DEAD TRAP are great and the plot takes a serious left turn in the third act. THESIS is one of my favorite films despite some of the annoying plot holes. Everyone is a joy to behold, especially Fele Martinez, who, along with Eduardo Noriega appears in ABRE LOS OJOS, also directed by Alejandro Amenabar.
Coming up next is our show about writers, as it appears our Tech Horror Ep. may have been reclaimed by the gods of the Internet. We looked at IN THE MOUTH OF MADNESS and BURNING.
Coming up, we have some wonderful shows with guests planned. Comfortilms Podcast will join us to talk THE WAGES OF FEAR & SORCEROR and Stefan MacDonald, From Drag Mitch to Hell will join us to talk VIDEODROME for its 40th anniversary!
We will be watching WENDELL & WILD and THE UNICORN WARS next, and speaking of Amenabar, after that, THE OTHERS & POLTERGEIST.
Be good and be good to each other. We love you, WoHos!
