STARSHIP TROOPERS & SLASH/BACK: Episode 122: Aliens!
Listen now
Description
This week we looked at the cult classic, STARSHIP TROOPERS, which is a flick Mom can't believe she never saw. We both loved this one a ton. We also looked at the low-budget gem, SLASH/BACK, from Canada, which talks about the friendship girls share as well as some aliens who land in a small Nunavut town. Mom went gaga for the scenery in this one. There is lots of waffle up top in this one. If you want to jump to the movie talk, that starts at 26:18. Next time on the main show we are looking at vamps with SHADOW OF THE VAMPIRE from the US and RIGOR MORTIS from Hong Kong. We are going to have one more special guest show on VIDEODROME and then we will have a couple of retrospective shows to finish out 2023. Thanks for all your support, WoHos! We love you and DON'T go into the basement! Of course, Mom was talking about HAROLD & MAUDE.
