Ben Shewry is the chef and owner of Attica in Melbourne. He grew up on a remote sheep and cattle farm in Taranaki, a mountainous coastal region on the west coast of New Zealand’s North Island. Shewry arrived in Melbourne in 2002 and worked with chefs like Andrew McConnell. He’s been the head chef at Attica since 2005 and made the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list in 2010. Ben Shewry also featured in the first season of Netflix Chef’s Table series.
