“As one who has read and studied cults for around ten years I’ve found some errors. I am a Seventh Day Adventist. I’m trying to prove the Adventist as a cult I found that it actually was not a cult but was Christ centered. His argument is typical biased off of a shallow studying of the religion. He sets up a straw man and then dissembles it. Our salvation is in Christ and Christ alone. We contribute nothing to our salvation. The righteousness we “have” is imparted to us from Jesus. We have nothing of our own. That is Adventist theology. The Bible and the Bible alone is the foundation of all truth. On the topic of Ellen G White, some place her equal with the Bible and some do not regard her writings at all. One will find extremist in any movement or religion. I do believe she was inspired by God however my salvation only rest in Jesus Christ and I place my trust in the Bible and the Bible alone. Mrs.White said herself that if one would study the Bible her writings would not be needed. She says of herself that she is the lesser light that points to the greater light. I am thankful that the Lord Jesus Christ is not the way that this gentleman portrays Him. Jesus is so loving... We can’t do anything to make Him love us more or less.”
