I’ll talk about our favorite beach, Kargi.  The water here is so salty it shows on your skin, yet it’s very clear and good for snorkeling. Eating in town means inevitably getting fresh grilled fish.  Some of our choices are the Kumluk Cafe and Emik Balik. There are numerous fast food and budget friendly restaurants.   Our favorites are Serin Bahçe Restaurant and Dunya Doner (chain but very good). When you are in town, let the rhythm of the beach life take over, and enjoy the local wines and almond products.   Take a trip to the Knidos point for Greek history and a lighthouse hike. WTD has a scary moment while jogging, and the family rubs elbows with the locals at a tea house while playing the local past time.
