Pride Around the World

Description
July is Pride month in many parts of the world. A chance to be visible, wave the rainbow flag and party. Well… not everywhere. The expression of queer pride differs all over the world and it is certainly not always a party. International LGBT advocacy organisation – Outright International – have released their third annual report on Pride around the world which highlights the challenges across the globe. In this podcast we get a world view of Pride from: * Noelle Campbell from the Equality for All Foundation in Jamaica; * Umut Rodja Yildirim, lawyer and LGBTI activist from Turkey; and * Nadine Smith, Executive Director of Equality Florida.
