His views on why Billboard's Top 50 Rappers Ever list was a bit misguided and reveals that he is also a family member connected to the rap billionaire Jay-Z and his extraordinary wife Beyonce.
He describes how he started in the acting world and his story is similar to how Tupac got his role in the cult classic film Juice. In regards to Tupac and his his acting, Bumpers believes "he was a legend on the screen." Bumpers is also a co-star in the movie Rise with Makaela Bryant and he goes into detail how the process and experience was with that project. The actor is also busy with current projects that includes a role on the next Jason Voorhies film.
Revealing that he would still want to work with Will Smith after the controversial Oscar slap to Chris Rock, his aim is to become to be the first African American male Houstonian to win an Emmy Award, a Golden Globe, and an Academy Award for his acting. He’s also determined to earn his Doctoral Degree and become a successful entrepreneur, like his parents before him.
