Mahalo Grant and Brooke for this episode. It really helped me get over a hump. The reminder that good is the enemy of perfect and to approach the work in bite-size pieces while setting intention were super valuable at this point in my writing career after working on my memoir, The Mother Road, for almost a decade!

While I’m enjoying the podcast, I’m a NaNoWriMo enthusiast because of Chris Baty’s book. This was his baby and I don’t think he gets near enough credit and ideas from his book are posed as “ours” from the podcasters. I get that he’s stepped aside, but that doesn’t mean his creation is any less his.
