Great motivation for all kinds of writers!
What I love about this podcast is that it’s so encouraging. We writers know that our worst trait is that we’re very critical of ourselves and get in our own heads too much. Grant and Brook are your own personal cheerleaders letting you know your story matters. Every time I finish an episode I feel super motivated to go write. I also love that it’s applicable to all kinds of writers. I’m primarily a scriptwriter for TV but the advice Grant and Brook and their guests give can be applied to any type of writing. I also love the length of the episodes. Sometimes podcasts like these when they’re really long they get too repetitive. I like that it’s short and to the point and the perfect length for a commute to work. What I don’t love about the podcast are the technical difficulties I often experience with it. About three minutes in to each episode it automatically starts the episode over and it’ll do this multiple times. Which is a bummer because I look forward to this podcast each week. If I’m lucky I can finally get it to stop and enjoy. I listen to a lot of podcasts and this is the only one I have this problem with. So if this could be remedied somehow you’d make this super fan very happy!

The hosts do an incredible job of staying on topic while still being fun to listen to. The episodes are on the shorter side, but packed full of information and inspiration. I look forward to new episodes each week!

I started listening sort at the beginning when they came out with this podcast. I remember it awakened my passion for writing not just for work. I began to write again as a creative outlet. I am so happy I came across this podcast because of how it connected me to my first 'highschool love'Read full review »
