With its singularly well-crafted and unique horror tales, The Wrong Station is one of the gems of the increasingly saturated horror podcast genre. Where The NoSleep Podcast is decreasing in its writing quality, TWS stands out amongst high-quality podcasts such as Knifepoint Horror and the highly produced Campfire Radio Theatre. It should be far more known and popular.

Cannot recommend strongly enough to those who love stuff like Spooked, Creepy, Lore, and Lets Not Meet. More story oriented (told in monologue, so far), but each drenched in as much atmosphere as a New England haunted house during a thunderstorm.

They really nailed the aesthetic of the podcast, but the actual stories are bizarre. A lot of western fantasy/period stories which I don’t think really fits with the idea of a creepy radio station. Consistent quality in writing, sound production and a unique sensibility in the narrators approach give this an updated feel to something that seems broadcast from the past. I’m hooked and it’s something that makes my long drive to work fly by. Thank you for this.
