“I enjoy podcasts as they help alleviate the boredom of a long commute. Yet I don't have the patience to listen to anything that is not absolutely compelling and top drawer. There are very few podcasts I would place in this category. I don't know how many shows I've had to unsubscribe, not because they were bad, but because they weren't brilliant. I guess life's too short to waste on something that is not spiritually edifying, interesting, informative, challenging AND entertaining. The WSC podcast is one of the few shows that I consider to fall within the category of "outstanding podcast".
If you're a layman like me and are looking to have your knowledge of the Reformed faith broadened and deepened, this is the place to go. The faculty of WSC have served up a treat with shows based around book previews and theological discussion. But my favourite part of the show has to be the, wait for it, Reformed testimonies! It's fascinating to hear various faculty members answer host Scott Clark's usual question, "How did you become Reformed?" It's quite fascinating to hear the stories of those who have been grafted like wild olive shoots into the Reformed tree.
So if you're looking for something that suceeds in feeding heart and mind while strengthening Reformed conviction and giving you the odd chuckle, this is well worth subscribing.”
