“I started with the road trip reviews thru the queer lense and was so entertained and given food for thought. TransAmerica, My Own Private Idaho—-fantastic !
The horror reviews, specifically The Hunger, a film produced in 1982 (prior to widespread understanding and commentary of the burgeoning AIDS epidemic) is out of step and too irreverent. Catherine Denueve, a globally famous French actress for 50 years...not hard to get the name correct at least once dear hosts. This is not an “AIDS” film and when reviewing, a certain host should have been more careful with his glib assessment that becoming a vampire is synonymous with contracting AIDS, in this particular film. Gen Z is not the last word on cinema critique and some of the more seasoned hosts should be holding him to task more at times.”
