“A well put together series of programmes. Unlike so many British podcasts, which usually compare unfavourably with their American counterparts, this one chugs along at a sprightly pace with no silly, irrelevant atmospherics. Just the right balance of authorial narrative and broadcasts from the past. I loved the way the history of British broadcasting was told intwined with the enfolding of WWII itself. The choice of wartime broadcasts from some of our national titans of the genre was perfect, and often moved me to tears. Bravo!”
